A Bit About Me

I am a U.S. Navy Veteran and currently I am currently studying at the University of Alabama for my Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing.

          I have a history of dealing with secret and classified documents and successfully maintaining an accurate record with no damages or loss, all while continuing to increase customer service efficiency to my clients. 
          Other previous work history ranges from overseeing project completion at proficient rates to assisting in the transfer of fuels and cargo between ships which included long work hours and the importance of attention to detail. I have a strong desire to help people, organize documents, and uphold steady working relationships with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.

Interpret medical exam results, compare them to established regulations from the Veterans Administration, and file accordingly. Review data from patient medical records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance while maintaining HIPAA. Process, prepare, and submit business or government forms, such as submitting applications for disability compensation and resources. 

Write documents to submit for disability compensation using the degree of severity from numerous sources, i.e. medical records and medical appointment documentation. Evaluate the possibility of approval or denial based on forms and records from client coinciding with regulations from VA. Determine the desirability of claims submitted to VA in order to develop more positive results via checking protocols and regulations.

Interview patients or their representatives to identify potential medical claims for disability compensation through the VA post-military service. Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs. Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in the community to meet community needs and to ensure that services are not duplicated.
